Thisdocumentdescribesa17WdimmableLEDdriverreferencedesignusingtheCY8CLEDAC02AC-DCpowercontrollerdevice.ThisreferencedesigniscapableofdrivingeightwhiteLEDs(typicalloadvoltageof25V)at530mA.

TheCY8CLEDAC02isahighperformanceofflineLEDdriver,designedtointerfacedirectlywithmostconventionalphasecutbasedwalldimmers.Thedeviceusesproprietarydigitalcontroltechnologytoprovideautomaticdetectionofdimmertype(leadingortrailingedge).ItautomaticallygeneratesdimmingsignalsforLEDloadsandhastheabilitytodimdownto2%.
